Our schedules are place holders for state reporting and report cards. Our
Curriculum Coordinator talked to her contacts at DOE and they said nobody
really knows anything until policy figures it out. She does not believe they
will be using period attendance. There is a webinar on June 1st concerning
guidelines for all this new stuff. We are just waiting to see what their final
guidance will be.

Subject: [gsis_admins] Elementary Scheduling
How do you currently schedule your elementary schools? Do you try to follow a
more true schedule like middle and high or are all periods and subjects just
place holders? What discussion, if any, has your district had in regards to
scheduling at elementary in connection with HB364? Has there been any
discussion about period attendance at the elementary level?
We are in the planning process and would like to have some input as to what
other districts may be thinking about doing.
