It's nothing to with GP: your MSI has failed. Switch on MSI logging and log
off/back on. Windows Installer will deposit a text log file into
%SystemRoot%\Temp, named MSI[something].LOG. There will be a bunch of them
there so search for the MSI name in them to find the one you want. It's worth
deleting/moving any logs already there before you start.
