Hi Darren, That's rather useful! Any reason for not including SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon UserEnvDebugLevel = 65538. It still seems to still work on Vista and provide more info than is provided in the Event logging. Perhaps there is an option to increase the amount of info in Event logging? I'm not sure GPMC logging will give you any more detail here but check out my gpolog.adm file-it contains all of the various logging options that GP provides and is available at www.gpoguy.com/gpolog.htm Darren From: gptalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:gptalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of krisani p Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2008 1:59 AM To: gptalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gptalk] GPMC logging Hello, When I try to copy or backup a GPO using GPMC on Vista, I am getting the error "Access is denied". How do I enable GPMC logging so that I can get more details about this. Thanks krisani
