Hi list as a heavy user of gps I find the thread on receivers very
interesting. I still use the magellon but soon in the uk when waas comes in
I will use the sportrack or the earthmate. One problem when walking arroung
in Leeds or Sheffield piano tuning, if your receiver is hooked on to your
shoulder strap it looks like a mobile phone. This is making one vunerable
to someone trying to steal it. I think the sprotrack and the earthmate are
smaller receivers so with better pick up one can hide it in an inside
jacket pocket and if we had blue tooth connection or infrared you would
have no wires. If the braille note moves on to windows ce version.4 then
this could happen.
Please can someone tell me wich program would a blind person use with a
laptop? thanks.
