Thanks Chris,

In the Poi files, I can't find the Columbia river and it's big. It just says
that the road ends when you get near it. The parks and walking paths aren't
in it.

I think I'll have to create them and upload them. They aren't under beaches.
I would think that's where you would find an ocean, but any info on major
rivers and lakes would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. I am using virtual mode while reading the manuals and
exploring places I know. The satellite will probably come out tomorrow.
(smile)

Judy

Hi,
when you say file management are you talking about from within gps
pressing O for GPS options, then space down to "map and poi folder"
and hit enter.
steps below.
1. press o from within gps program.
2. space down to "map and poi folder" and press enter.
3. press C for compact flash.
4. at the foldername prompt you can 1. type maps and press enter or
2. space down till you get to maps and press enter two times.

Once you do this the new maps from the "maps" folder should load.
Hope this helps.
