Hello. Holux, as you mentioned, is a brand of GPS receiver.
Several programs willl work with various Holux receivers, for instance, the 
Trekker that you are probably referring to. Wayfinder, SenseNav, and Sendero

GPS also work with some or all Holux receivers.
