I did all of that, but If I don't set an address and then go to GPS
mode, then it won't track or find any location. That's the weird thing.

Sarai,
First you must have the maps installed in the same folder, example MAPS
which is the default. Do not copy the maps from the CDs by folder. Copy
the folder files to the CF card. Be sure to include the POI file to the
POI folder using the same method.
Once you have acquired satellites and you are in a position that you
have maps installed you will be able to easily locate your location.
The only reason you would need to set a address is if you are using
virtual mode. Then you need to establish a virtual location.

Hey guys:
Okay, if I have eight maps loaded on a CF card, and I turn on my GPS and
track satellites, I have to have a specific address/state selected,
right? I can't just expect the GPS to put me at the correct spot, right?
For some reason, I have to choose a spot in the state that I'm in in
order to start tracking satellites and being able to use the GPS. Its
frustrating because I'm traveling from Al to Ca tomorrow. Any
suggestions?
