Hi Mary Ellen,

The short answer is it depends. I know helpful eh? haha, ok It depends on how accurate the address interpolation is and how accurate is the map data. For example if the map is spot on and the addresses behave normally, then there is a very good chance that when you arrive at the store your poi you created in virtual mode using the address lookup, it will trigger. A lot of commercial POIs are created this way, and this is why you are not put right at the front door of these commercial POIs. Only once you physically go to a location and mark your own user POI can you reliably count on it. So I would only count on the address of a POI to get you in the vicinity, and once you find the real front door mark your own personal POI and then share that with Sendero so that others won't have to do the same thing :)

Hope this helps.
Charles.

Hi folks!
Have just been online and got the address of my nearest Bose store.
Ok here is what I am unclear about. I have recorded it in the gps as a POI in virtual mode. Now, were I to take a cab there would this trigger when we got there, or would I have to do the whole thing over on location? I guess my question should have been, if we need to be on location to record a POI, then why is there this ability to do so in virtual mode?
Thanks!
