Can I suggest we suspend this ... discussion <g> ... until we get to the
point to writing a spec. The requirements for installation are what they
are. The details are to be determined later.
Right now our goal is a requirements document. Thanks.

I can tell you that the goal is NOT to do everything the "Windows Way". If

It's odd that it's not possible for you, but for everyone else it's just
fine. I definitely think the problem is with the system, and not the
outlier.
