OK, first I want to clarify that I see Chrome and VSTGUI as two different things. Chrome could be handled completely by a Chrome plugin. The plugin would load the XML file and the pixmaps and have all the logic for animations etc. But it still needs a way to draw to the screen. I think it is reasonable to NOT support it. I have changed the requirement to a reccomendation.
