You can select how you want updates handeled. In the Control Panel, =

click on Automatic Updates. You have choices to install the updates
automatically or to download them and wait until you choose to install =
them
or just to be notified that updates are available but not to even =
download
them. You can also turn automatic updates off entirely and just do it
manually, but that's not a good idea. Shortly after updates are =
released,
viruses that take advantage of those holes often appear to attack people =
who
don't bother to install the updates.
