Gentlemen, Seconds out ... Round 2. Ding! 1) As most of you know, my paper, "Stellar distances and the age of the universe," aims to prove that the MAXIMUM distance to a 6th magnitude "Sun-like" star is 1.27 light-days. 2) This distance, although still huge, is massively closer than the allegedly closest star, Proxima Centauri, at 4.3 light-years. 3) The heliocentric model REQUIRES OF NECESSITY the stars to be very, very far away. I therefore invite DIRECT answers to the following two questions: i) Do you agree that with such a reduction in stellar distances, the heliocentric model is dead? ii) Do you agree that one of the many, many nails in its coffin would be the very thing that is usually given as its "proof" - parallax? Not too much duckin' an' a'weavin' now, just answer the questions, please. Ad majorem Dei gloriam.
