Reading the thread it looks like your using Netscape for your email
client, and netaddress as your email server.  If that's the case, I
don't think it has to do with netaddress so much as Netscape.  I ran
a search on Google using "netscape email line break characters" and
came back with several hits.  That may give you a clue on how to fix
the issue.

I use netaddress, and a fee-client called "The Bat" for email.
