[GeoStL] Wireless laptop

I have a Gateway laptop. I want to take it on the road and use it where ever I 
might be. Is there such a service? I use US Cellular for my cell phone. I hear 
about cards for $60 a month. Do they work out away from cities? What's the 
deal? Thanks for helping me out.
