[GeoStL] Re: What Does Your Log say?

My family has placed a few caches, and my 5-year old daughter loves to sit on
my lap once a week and have me read the cache logs. There's nothing worse than
sitting down with her and reading Took Nothing Left Nothing Signed Log. Those
make her sad.

I read Brawny's article on leaving more descriptive logs, and I've tried to do
this, at least on line. Here's an example from a cache I found in Nevada:

 March 18 by merkin4 (39 found)
AACCCCKKKK!
Repeat after me.
1. The cache is NOT in that survey cairn at the top of the hill.
2. The cache is NOT on the peak north of that.
3. When the GPS says "98.4 feet" it may mean DOWN.
4. Loose gravel will not hold, repeat WILL NOT hold, an out-of-shape database
programmer from St. Louis.

Other than that, it was a great find. Took nothing (except the yin-yang
relaxation ball I found next to the highway, and I'm going to need it) and left
a carribeaner and a cow magnet. I will never disparage those little Girl Scouts
again. (They probably had the smarts to approach this cache from BELOW, not
ABOVE.) Difficulty was much harder than it had to be.

(Good thing I can laugh about it now, eh? Excellent job.)
