I've had my hard drive replaced twice. Once they were able to transfer over my
files etc. The second time it was a clean wipe and I had to reload. So if the
drive is still usable, they may be able to transfer the data/files. Everyone
should back up their valuable data on an external hard dirve, and the REAL
valuable stuff on a CD. I learned that the hard (drive) way.Bob PrattBBD1 PS:

If I replace the hard drive in my laptop and then
connect it to the backup hard drive, will I need to reload anything? Should it
be good to go?
