Bernie, please tell me what you find there and how much it costs. I'm looking for a 12-15 ft. long mini-jack audio patch cord so I can record music off tapes as .WAVs and convert it to .MP3s. Also, Bernie, you may need an audio converter program if you don't have a program that can do it already. MusicMatch should be able to, but I normally use Microsoft's sound recorder in the highest quality setting and convert it over to 128 kbps .MP3s. ~Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: Bernie To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, May 13, 2004 9:42 PM Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR - Thanks Rich and Jim. I was trying to come up with a way were I could use the USB on my laptop and then use the amp out on my entertainment center in the family room. I guess I'll be heading for Best Buy in the morning and try to find a cable with mini jacks on each end. I have that Dazzle gadget and thought I might be able to use it. Easy Cd creator or whatever you use can take that signal and convert it to WAV or audio CD format and record it to the CD. I just use the headphone jack on a small Walkman style tape player.
