Rich is right, if you aren't in a big hurry watch for good sales. Your money
is better spent on a new one with the pace of changing technology. Dell had
some decentl aptops 2 weeks ago for 587 shipped plus best buy and cicuit city
had good deals too.

Buy had new Toshiba's for $499 (without rebates!) and CompUSA had Compaq's
for $499 after rebates. New batteries run about $100 or more for laptops so
it gets to a point where there's not much difference between a used and new
one, plus current technology and 1 yr. warranty.
