Roger;
Yes, you'll need to buy CN 2009 for the latest maps if you want the
autorouting on the GPS. It will load on both the PC and into ONE (and only
one) GPS. The unlock code will be with the DVD when you buy it and it must
be unlocked using the Garmin website.
After it's loaded on the PC, and unlocked thru Garmin and the ser # of the
GPS, use Mapsource to send the maps to the GPS or SD card directly if you
have a reader (which is much faster). You'll need to select the areas (state
or states) you want loaded. The whole 50 states and Canada is about 1 gig.

Thanks Mike!
Now that I have my $8 2GB microSD card for my GPS60CSx, I'm trying to
figure out what I need next. I bought the 60CSx a while ago but never
did much with it. Do I have to buy the City Navigator NT North America
on DVD for $100? Are those maps usable for both the GPS and the
MapSource software on the PC? Will it come with directions telling me
how to get the maps loaded onto the GPS? Now that I want to be serious
about my 60CSx, I have so many questions.
Thanks for any answers anyone can provide.
Roger
