This is exactly why I don't use debit cards when buying stuff. pretty much ever. If you're waiting for money to be refunded, it might as well be MC/Visa/Discover or AmEx, whoever's money. not mine. The money was refunded back to paypal who refunded it back to the CC, I incorrectly assumed it would go back as a paypal accoung balance and I could add some to it and be cool. But since it went back to the CC it'll be a week or so at least before the $ shows back up. I ended up ordering one from getwetfeet.com with the autonavigation kit, of course they are expecting thier shipment to arrive thursday and to ship out friday since they are out of stock. I'd call and cancel it but the $$ is already cooming out of my checking account via paypal and I can' wait to have it credited back to order from somewhere else. At this point the whole thing has been one big mess. Kinda like when best buy was stupid about a flat screen lcd panel monitor and I finally decided it was fate saying I didn't need the new toy and I didn't get it. But I will get a 60CS in the long run. Mike Gr iffin <griff@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: If you get a refund, try TVNAV.COM. Their website is nothing fancy nor do they have a huge place. They are located right down the street from Garmin and have been my favorite spot. Shipping is less than 4 days and they are real easy to deal with. If you call and order, they will be straight forward with you. However I do totally understand what you are saying now. I have a mapsource program that I have used for my etrex Vista that incorporates my topo and metroguide maps. So the lightbulb has gone off, when I installed my metroguide it automatically installed a mapsource program and I didn't even think of that when Mapsource was mentioned in relationship to this. I also did some reading this morning on the groundspeak forum and saw where people were using the various programs including GSAK and EassyMPS to send to Mapsource then the 60CS so I think I have it all figured out now. On another note though.........of course after figuring it all out I found out the place I ordered from is on backorder (their website said in stock or I wouldn't have ordered it). I'm waiting to here if they will refund the money back to my paypal account, if so then I'm going to go order it from getfeetwet.com with the autonavigation kit. I know they are on backorder there as well (same expected arrival date as the other place) but it is a better value with the nav kit. Hope to hear from them today. The version that came with my 60cs was 5.0 I believe. I upgraded from the Garmin site to the 5.4. I did not know about the 6.0 version coming out. I had a tough time getting the 60cs to communicate with the computer finally found the setting and everything is ok. Of course must use EasyMPS to convert to the appropriate format! Terry (GeoPioneer)
