It's no different than MOGA or anyone else setting out a series of caches. At
least they did t ask people not to place any caches in town so they could hide
theirs or just flat out ask people to archive their new caches for his event.
This same thing goes on all the time, every day. There is always a big project
in the works by someone.
Yes, it is really hard when an event or a series grabs up a whole area or town
for their stuff. This time it's you that got told no. Every other time it has
been a lot of someone elses but you just didn't hear about it here for some
reason.
I guess the answer to fix that would be to not allow any caches place more than
24 hours in advance by anyone for any reason. That would level the playing
field. It would however make 11.11.11 events , Moga and geowoodstock events the
jessie james caching event and every other caching event a little hard to
organize. It would be all but impossible to put out any sort of themed, timed
series or anything like the kc battleship game. It's a small price to pay tho.
Let's see, submit 180 caches for Moga to be released tomorrow at noon, it won't
happen. I can get them done in a few weeks, sorry about your event. Same with
any of the others. But, it would be fair.
