Hi Lorraine I hope this finds you well and coping with your latest treatment. I got through my stem cell transplant ok and am now recovering in NZ with my daughter and grandchildren until middle of June. There is no sign of cancer and doctors hope will give me a further 2 years. I am planning on going to live in France for 3 months from 6th July. Something I have always wanted to do so why not. To all other Gawlerites - Hope you are all keeping well. I think of you all often and enjoy catching up with news. Stella - thank you for latest info. Was very interesting and I intend to contact them before going to France. I do hope it was successful and that it has given you a lot of physical strength. I have what will hopefully be my last chemo infusion in a couple of weeks time. I must say I'm getting more tired as the time goes by but it's all for a good cause. I'll be interested to see what the ensuing catscan shows. When I've finished, my specialist wants me to go on a trial programme to have a 3-monthly treatment of Mabthera (Rituximab) which he feels helps keep one in remission longer. Thanks for your encouragement. I'd love to know how you're doing. Cheers, Lorraine.
