Might not be very carbon neutral. There is a quick method of
stripping copper from wire but I'm not sure how well it would work
for ribbon cable. I'll look into it. Maybe we could get better
returns on our copper if it doesn't take too long.

I tried to recycle the skid of cables at Gertrude today. They will
not
accept the ribbon cables because the recoverable copper is less
than 30% of
the weight which appears to be a new policy. Someone there
estimated the
ribbon cable has about 20% recoverable copper by weight.
So we need to separate (and trash) the ribbon cables from the rest
of the
wire and try again. I'll move the skid to our warehouse tonight
using an
RBHS forklift.
