MONK!!! Now that's funny!! For me, I dress casual to work since my job requires me to get dirty at times. Now If I were to wear a suit to work, then I would choose my pens according to what I am wearing and yes....my mood!!! LoL!!! Thank goodness this is a fountain pen list group since no one really understands our obsession or passion or a bit of both. Now if I was cleaning and waxing my pens daily and ensuring the cap is set perfectly, like the pelican on the top of the cap having to face forward and in the middle of the pocket, then Call me Monk. Also beak out the Straightjacket and paddy wagon and send me to the loony bin!!! LoL!!! Only Pen people can understand our strange humor!!! It seems that (to non-FP users) we look almost like Mr. Monk... I have seen some really curious faces at work. Some people are not used to see lots of fountain pens inked at the same time, "just" because of different colours, nib widths, flexibilities, etc make them suitable for different moods. Just MHO. Something similar happened to to me when at a meeting at work a clown snatched a Pelikan 400 out of my hand to make a note in the margin of a agenda sheet. I just grabbed his hand and told him about 12" from his face to never EVER do it again. He did not even bother to apologise. A colleague informed me that this fool then went around telling people I was not a nice guy and was trying to get rough with him. I think one of the problems is that non FP people do not really know how expensive and delicate some of our pens are To Unsubscribe: Send email to fptalk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <http://us.mc1125.mail.yahoo.com/mc/compose?to=fptalk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> with "unsubscribe" in the Subject field.
