Hi Deb, Thanks for the Piccadilly review... I've considered buying one of these since first seeing one advertised, but had wondered if they were as nice looking in person as the advertising propaganda makes them look. I've got the San Francisco (a wedding gift from my lovely bride) - it's my favorite modern pen for many reasons. It looks much better in hand than it does in photographs (not that it looks bad in photographs). I think it's just really difficult to capture the iridescence and dramatic color shifts that you see in it as it moves. It's one of those pens I can't quit staring at... Is the Piccadilly like this too? Thanks, Tom (who enjoys a pretty pen every now and then) -----Original Message----- From: fptalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fptalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Deb Kinney Sent: Wednesday, May 03, 2006 4:46 PM To: fptalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: New pen Hi all - I must admit that it has been quite some time since I bought a new pen. I have been busy selling some of my vintage collection as well as my modified pens. I truly have a few too many pens. But when Chris Chalmers had a new pen sent to me for modification...well - I fell in lust and had to have it. The pelikan picadilly is one beautiful pen - if you like bold swirly colors. I have had it for 2 days and have used it maybe 5 times and have received 5 compliments. You deserve a look at the pen - even if you are a vintage person or a black pen person. It is pretty.
