I figured out that there should be a way to configure sendmail that it uses another hostname. The O3398U uses at this thime a wrong means unqualified hostname. O3398U# /usr/lib/sendmail -bt ADDRESS TEST MODE (ruleset 3 NOT automatically invoked) Enter <ruleset> <address> > -d8.8 > /map host localhost rewrite: ruleset 0 input: host localhost rewrite: ruleset 9 input: host localhost rewrite: ruleset 9 returns: host localhost rewrite: ruleset 0 returns: $# local $: host localhost > This configurations is working. Q7331U# /usr/lib/sendmail -bt ADDRESS TEST MODE (ruleset 3 NOT automatically invoked) Enter <ruleset> <address> > -d8.8 > /map host localhost map_lookup: host (localhost) returns localhost.innovene.com.
