If you're on a 51-series box, omget/omgetimp is in /opt/fox/bin/tools.
To read an object, issue the omget/omgetimp command at the shell prompt:

/opt/fox/bin/tools/omgetimp -v <comp>:<block>.<param>

What's the difference between omget and omgetimp? See here for the
explanation straight from the expert, Alex Johnson:

//www.freelists.org/archives/foxboro/06-2005/msg00072.html

or this summary in the Cassandra Project Wiki, which also has the
(quite terse) man page for omget:

<http://www.thecassandraproject.org/wiki/index.php/Omget%2C_omgetimp%2C_omset%2C_omsetimp>

(that long URL may be broken up in your mailer, cut-and-paste into your
browser as one long line)
