One thing to consider is "which" parts of the system you want to stay
live. If you have FBMs on UPS, then you may want to drive the outputs to
a safe value by your controls. For example, an AOUT is powered from the
FBM, so anything that is loop-powered will continue to modulate. Another
thing to consider is scenarios in which there are partial-plant outages
and which outputs should be driven to safe value.
