Use the AW70 Integrator with the OPC I/O Gate.
This box can be added to either a Solaris based or NT based system.
It allows the AW70 Integrator's I/O blocks to obtain data from an OPC
Server. Intellution has OPC Servers.
Part No: Q0301HT - the AW70 OPC I/O Gate Client Interface Version 2.0.3
Description: Compliant with V1.0 and V2.0 of the OPC DA specification
Status: Available for AW70 for approximately 2 years. Certified by Foxboro.
PSS: A PSS for a similar (almost identical) product is available, 21S 6D6
B3.

Subject: [foxboro] Off platform communications
We need to connect or I/A system to Intellution via the company WAN.
We do
not need to pull large amounts of data back into DCS. We us DataLink
and
Data for Windows on older systems to get information out of DCS and
into
Intellution. We has successfully used the Data Poke utility to input
data
from spreadsheets back to DCS, however, what we are looking for is a
real-time interface to display a limited amount of SCADA data to our
operators. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
Troy
