IF the issue is the AIM* license, you can recover it from the aimapi.tcp file.
Or contact GCS and they can help with that.

Hello all,
I got a task from a client to recover an old FOXBORO server with IA 7.1.1.
There was some problems with the HDD Raid array that got degradated since one
of the old HDD failed. I managed to copy the HDD content into a new HDD and
boot windows XP. In the beginning windows will just reboot as soon the FOX
user automatic logged in, even with a BSOD. After booting into safe mode and
disabling the I/A and reinstalling IA, I managed to get into XP without BSOD.
But now if i activate IA again the PC goes into a continuous boot cycle after
a while.
I have found this old conversation in the mailing list.
//www.freelists.org/post/foxboro/foxboro-IA-V80-software-installation-continuous-boot-cycle,2
But unfortunately i dont understand so much about FOX, i can just managed
to scratch the surface. I have all the original diskettes with commit and
revision level if needed.
Was hopping some expert could share some light, i will like very much to
recover this old installation since it has Fox AIM installed and licensed.
Best regards,Paulo Louro
