Pat,

I did observe the same issue with I/A Ver. 7.1.1 (Windows XP).

For Logmate: You only need a small change at one point in your filter 
file: The date macro. That will adjust Logmate to the new date scheme. 
Logmate will then use the year of its own clock.

If you should upgrade to Ver. 8.2, you'll have to change the macro 
back. That version shows the year again (at least the one I have seen). 
So backup your filter file first.

With Logmate's "migrate" utility, you can correct the messages that 
went to <GARBAGE> so your database will be OK.
