Ah, I recognize this seems a bit starnge. However, in reality it's just
Sun's interpetation of the ethernet spec (which they are uniquie in, I
think). In any case, not protocol that you need waorry about in this
contexte ever does a MAc _> IP lookuuup, and abviously the inverse (IP ->
MAC) works fine.
So, basicly just don't worry about it. All ifconfig setings are interface
specific, not MAc, also.
