According to the Customer Advisory issued today (2007024abi), the
fieldbus diagnostic problem with 6.1.7 image for CP30B/CP40B is already
addressed with QF1009046 (CP30B) and QF1008683 (CP40B).
I'd do the usual Day0 install to v6.5.3 and install the above QFs (and
other QFs as necessary, search the GPS web site for the ones you need).

To the all knowing list, we are going to do a 6.1 to 6.5.3 upgrade.
There
are issues with the CP30B and CP40B 6.1.7 images. Can we use a prior
release image and if so what version is safe. Once upgraded it will be

year before I can initialize CP's again.
