pan kaj

i guess u must be using exchange 5.5. i had no problems on exchange 5.5 but the present sceanrio is exchange 2000 gives this problem.if am not clear i will let u know the exact scenario.

right click on outlook, properties, select the user profiles, then properties, click echange server then properties and if u can see under the advanced tabu get a option for network security under which u have three options. if u select none , and when u r using outlook u will be prompted for username, password, domain.even if i give username, password ,domain name correctly, it returns me with a error unable to open mailbox.you do not have the permissions.since u r logged in as an administrator in the domain using the pc

and authentication set ot none under the outlook settings u r able to access the email folders of users if u provide the right authentication details. this is done by me in exchange 5.5 but doesnt work in exchange 2000. is this something of a bug in exch 2k. can somebody explain me.

anyway thanks pankaj
