Ah, I had opened up my SMTP protocol to allow for a php script to send mail
through our server until I figured out how to pass authentication along with
the message. It's mostly out of curiosity at this point, but it might help
others to know that if they have tons of mail in a queue (sent legitimately by
those inside their organization and perhaps is just delayed in connecting to
the receiving server) they can delete it without having to target the
destination domains individually. I'm guessing that's the only way as John
typically posts not only information regarding what may be causing an issue,
but also a solution. :)

Thanks for replying John

More importantly is to first stop what ever it is that is happening to cause
that.

Hi all... I understand how to delete queued items from the SMTP queue, but it
seems as though you have to do it individually for each destination domain. Is
there a way you can mass delete from the queue with no NDR?

  Thanks!

P.S. Tried SHIFT and CTRL - select.. no dice.
