Last I checked, the query based DG's are only directory based. To do what
you want to do would either require code else you'd have to put those
contacts in the directory.

So this is a little unusual.
I have created a Contacts folder in my Public Folders. It is used to provide
internal users with contact information for a large number of external
customers. We have added a specific field identifier to help build the
query-based distribution lists. But how do you point the query at the public
folder? Is that even possible? Any ideas are welcomed.
