Outlook 2000 issues

Windows 2000 fully spacked
Exchange 2000 fully spacked
I have a strange issue occurring within outlook.
Most of the time Mail will arrive normally, but on some machines,
Outlook will not display new mail until you click on an existing email
or you move to a different folder within outlook.
Anyone seen anything like this?
