Yes- I resolved this a while back. it's the XP SP2 firewall. You have to
add Outlook as a program on the [Exceptions] tab in the firewall (per machine.)
Took a good bit to figure that one out and MS didn't help. That's definitely
the problem - I've nailed it on many a client...

Subject: [exchangelist] Outlook 2000 issues

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hello all...
Windows 2000 fully spacked
Exchange 2000 fully spacked

I have a strange issue occurring within outlook.

Most of the time Mail will arrive normally, but on some machines,
Outlook will not display new mail until you click on an existing email
or you move to a different folder within outlook.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Thank you ahead of time.
