-------------------------------------------------------Thanks for the advice
everyone.

The backups have been working ok, or at elast they had until the weekend when the disk pretty much filled up.

It seems that our email storage has grown quite a lot, leaving little space remaining.

I'm going to be moving the logs and public folders to a new disk, and work to clear some space down.

On a related note, if the log files are causing you to run out of space,
you should make sure your backups are currently running to successful
completion, and using an Exchange compatible backup that rolls the logs
correctly. Log file growth indicates failed backups, or a backup scheme
that needs to be rethought.

Noted the database will be dismounted.

Depending on the size, there could be an extended downtime for all the
while
 the DB is dismounted.

Thanks you for the reply,

If I were to just move the Log Directory for the moment would that
involve any downtime?
