Depending on the size, there could be an extended downtime for all the while the DB is dismounted. I've seen the instructions at this site:- http://www.petri.co.il/move_exchange_stores_to_a_different_disk.htm It doesn't seem too complicated, but I have a question. After hitting the Browse button and choosing the new location for the stores does Exchange actually move the files for me, or am I expected to manually move then in Windows Explorer?
