There is a difference between sharing and the security rights for that
folder. You're saying the folder is shared, and you have given 5 users
specific security rights to it? What is the default security for
everyone else? Can they browse, but not read/write?

Have a strange problem with a shared folder on win2kserver.

It is shared between 5 people but keeps getting upwards of 10
users accessing it (I can tell this as I stop sharing it to clear the
users and it says 10 people are connected). One of the users must be
getting multiple connections somehow as no other users are on this
particular network.

How can I see which user is causing the problem ?

        thanks

        Ryan
