If you manage the win2kserver, drill down to shared folders and you
shouls see what is shared & who's connected as well as open files

        Hi Doug

There are only 5 users on the network. They all have full access
to the folder.

        thanks

        Ryan

There is a difference between sharing and the security
rights for that folder. You're saying the folder is shared, and you have
given 5 users specific security rights to it? What is the default
security for everyone else? Can they browse, but not read/write?

Swap read error. You lose your mind.

Have a strange problem with a shared folder on
win2kserver.

It is shared between 5 people but keeps getting
upwards of 10 users accessing it (I can tell this as I stop sharing it
to clear the users and it says 10 people are connected). One of the
users must be getting multiple connections somehow as no other users are
on this particular network.

How can I see which user is causing the problem
?

                        thanks
