Hi Hermano, You didn't say which exchange you are talking about. 1 - simply move your mailboxes from server A to server B using the exchange tools 2 - you need to connect the new server to domain like you do any workstation, then run dpromo on it otherwise your none of your users in AD will be able to use it. 3 - Just make sure you have a backup of everything before you attempt the move, that way if something goes wrong you don't want be down for every long. So, is it just a promotion or something else needs to be done? 3 - Besides the DNS configuration with all pieces involved what else should I need to be aware? As you can see this is the first time that I've bee doing this and I don't want to mess up with anything, specially because we have been blessed with all settings and condition of all server nowadays. Thanks so much for any advice or comments.
