If you install SBS with Exchange after you have a win2K network it doesn't work. -----Original Message----- From: Stelley, Doug [mailto:dstelley@xxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 13, 2003 5:46 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Licensing Question Why not run forest/domain prep? I did, no problem! That's what it's designed for, to prep the domain for exchange! If however 5.5 Exchange is already in the domain, nothing new is added. Seems like the SBS would just be added as a member server, or a BDC. Why wouldn't it work? Doug Stelley Interface Coordinator Olean General Hospital (716) 375-7320 Slartibartfast: Is that your robot? You cannot run forestprep & domainprep on existing win2K network. We have three servers here - the domain controller/file server machine, the exchange 5.5 machine, and a web server. If I want to replace the exchange 5.5 machine, what implications will have have with installing SBS?
