Chand, If the mailbox moved and the home server property does not change and remains the old server name, you can try to change it by running the Exchange admin in raw mode, and editing the property of the affected mailbox. You start the admin tool in raw mode by typing admin /r from ../EXCHSRVR/BIN directory. CAUTION: BE VERY CAREFUL WHILE USING ADMIN /R. YOU CAN CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE EXCHANGE SCHEMA IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE CHANGING. I DO NOT HAVE EXCHANGE 5.5 IN FRONT OF ME TO TELL YOU THE EXACT STEPS TO MODIFY THE SCHEMA ATTRIBUTE TO BE CHANGED. I installed an other server in the same site and migrated only one mailbox to this second server and it worked. While I was moving this mailbox from the new to the old one, the mailbox did not completely move. The mailbox got transfered but the home server for this mailbox is still shown the new one. While, I try to change this value to the old one, it cannot as the server does not find anything on the new server. Is there a way to do so... Though this a test mailbox and I can delete it, but I want to know the solution to this problem.
