In practice you must dismount your exchange drive or drives and then
it's safe to defrag them. Think of Exchange as one huge database.

Anyone know of anyproblems defragging harddrives on an Exchange Server?
I know to perform maintenance on the mailbox store you must dismount
store but I am wanting to defrag entire harddrives on my exchange
server.

Thanks Bruce
