Dear Etniers:
I have been trying for two years to get an official answer from the testing
department on the question that Adele posed. (i.e - can a 12th grade
student - this year - take the 3 point in the winter as "insurance" and then
take the 4 point in the summer.... of course the big question is, if he
fails the 4, does the 3 still count... and if he passes the 4, can he cancel
the 3.) Seems very logical and fair, but I have not gotten an answer to the
question despite a number of letters. Nor have I read any chozer which
relates to the question. I can't turn to the person at school responsible
for the Bagrut testing because that person is me.
I would really appreciate it if one of the Mifakchim would try to get an
answer from the testing department. I think it is important enough for them
to publish the answer in an official way. And of course, it could apply to
Math as well as English. (and to borderline 5 point students who could take
the 4 point in winter as "insurance".)
