Dear Sub Scribers,
Not a dagos buy without someone asking me how come i don't have
funny letters on the Etni list or in my column any more. The answer is, in a
word, Sabbatical. I am so busy not teaching that I have no time to write. I
came back from 2 Science fiction conventions and a trip to Canada, so I wrote
my Star Trek/ Jewish Federation 8 page epic, which I never finished, and which
you can get by dropping me a line or convincing David Lloyd to put up in the
column.
Aside from that, I still open my E mail Inbox every day religiously. I
have to use a Fleishig knife cause of all the Spam. I wonder if they call Spam
'loof' in Hebrew -- Any of you who used to do Miluim can understand why.
Actually, most of my spam is from mail promoting sexual enhancement drugs. In
addition, I receive,lehavdil elleff havdalloss, rabbinic sermons about the
portion of the week, but they get buried under the junk mail. This week, for
example, I can't see the Va-Era for the ViAgra.
