Dear ETNIers,
I am a private tutor to an eighth grader. His English is good and he knows 
the grammar rules. His oral understanding is excellent as welll. However, he 
refuses to speak in English, possibly due to shyness.
If you have any ideas as to how encourage students to converse in English 
(preferably from experience), I would appreciate it if you could write me 
about them.
