All ETAI members are cordially invited to a Pre-Conference Event (PCE) on
Integrating Technology into Language Teaching organised by the British Council
and David Yellin College on July 2. The PCE includes a number of hands-on
workshops demonstrating how online animation, digital games, slideshow
creators, wikis and other web tools can be incorporated into English lessons.

It is our great pleasure to have as one of the presenters a guest speaker from
the UK, Gavin Dudeney (The Consultants-E), the author of The Internet and the
Language Classroom (CUP 2000, 2007) and How to Teach English with Technology
(with Nicky Hockly, Longman 2007). Gavin Dudeney will also be one of the
keynote speakers at the ETAI conference which takes place on July 3-4 at the
Academy High School on the Givat Ram campus of Hebrew University.

Registration costs NIS 30.- but it's FREE for those registered for the annual
ETAI conference on July 3-4.

To register for the PCE, email: etaioffice@xxxxxxxxx
<mailto:etaioffice@xxxxxxxxx> or phone 02 500 1844.

PCE takes place at David Yellin College, 7 Ma'agal Bet HaMidrash, Beit HaKerem
- Jerusalem - very easy to get to by public transport. The light rail stops
right outside the college : get off at the HeHalutz stop (two stops after the
central bus station).

*** Please note that PCE on July 2 and the ETAI conference on July 3-4 take
place at different venues ***

Hope to see you there

LEO
